Alumalco

We built our house in summer 2024 and chose Alumalco for the whole house including 15 for patio doors and entrance door. Best quality windows we’ve ever purchased. Their European mechanism makes it as such that it’s easy and practical to open our windows. They were also able to tailor to the oversize windows we needed. The installation team was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Quality, beautify and service all in one! We highly recommend Alumalco.

Solid and great quality product, minimalistic and modern look, overall very satisfied. The company gave me an excellent service throughout the product selection. We live in a house of 1967 that was built for himself by a well known architect. However much we love the house though, the windows were original, and something finally had to be done. But no supplier, that we asked to visit, was able to come up with a palpable solution. Doing energy efficiency evaluations, I do inspect windows and doors daily, but no Canadian product we considered, ever met all requirements we had. Until we found Anthony at Alumalco. Being of Swiss origin, I started looking for European windows. After visiting their showroom I realized that I had to go no further. While the latest Canadian made products may be tight and energy efficient, none inspired also the same solid, safe-like character of Alumalco’s products. I cannot explain this, but just the sound of the main door shutting like a vault (I imagine) is sufficient to say it all. The design of the entire window and door is precision engineered to the last detail, for long lasting performance. The crucial profiles and hardware are all German quality. As an engineer myself, I was convinced. And once you see it, you immediately would understand what I mean. However even the best designed windows and doors are only as good as their installation quality. Also here Alumalco shines. Their entire installation team, with Giulio at the head, works just as meticulously precise as the windows/doors themselves. Nothing is rushed. Not even the smallest compromise on perfection. Time is not an issue. It took 7 days to install, and always in a very cooperative and friendly way. And after the sale/installation is complete, their service remains unchanged and you will not be left alone after you paid. Needless to say that we are much more than happy about our decision to replace all windows with Alumalco’s products. With about 50% of all our walls actually being windows, this was a big decision, and in retro perspective it was the only right one to make. We can only recommend Alumalco with Anthony, Giulio, Jason and their entire team. Their windows and doors may not be for everyone, but if they are for you, you will not regret your decision.

Their names are Giulio, Mario, Alex and Jason….Alumalco installers and true craftsmen. In today’s “big box”, “no face to a company”, “zero customer service” era, I found Alumalco’s personnel, from Anthony all the way to the expert installers, to be second to none. I’ve been in property management all my life and have seen many, many contractors. I know the difference. You can have the greatest installers, but without a good product, you are a hollow company…all puff and pageantry but no guts. My tilt and turn windows and my “extra”ordinary door, are magnificent….period! I have one concern…my jealous neighbours.
